Support the Future
Tamamta funding from the National Science Foundation ends August 2026. Our goal is to make Tamamta a permanent program in support of Indigenous science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. We envision a future in which Indigenous Peoples’ knowledge and governance systems steward land, fish, and animal relations for the better health and wellbeing for all.

Support a Tamamta Fellow
Donations made to support current & future Tamamta Fellows are for education & research. Things such as equipment and supplies for their projects and help with tuition and fees.

Grow Indigenous Faculty
Tamamta aims to hire additional indigenous faculty to elevate teaching, advising, and broaden capacity.
